Who are we?
Our workshop, founded
in 1998 by Sabine Cassat and today directed together with Katharina
Wellmer, is situated in Mareil-Marly, charming village next to Saint-Germain-en
Laye, less than 20km west of Paris. (See map).
After initial training in internationally known violin making schools
such as Cremona (Italy) for Sabine Cassat and Abertridwr (Wales / UK)
for Katharina Wellmer, we have both worked many years in several workshops
in Paris’ Rue de Rome.
Our experience thus gained enables us to offer you a high quality restoration
and/or making service for all instruments of the violin-family as well
as for their bows.
You will find a large choice of new and antique instruments for sale,
from the beginner’s instrument upwards to the professional quality.
Of course, we can also provide you with the bow, the case and any other
item you may need to go along with your instrument. We will always be
very happy to help you with your choice.

An important number of good quality student instruments are available
for rental. The ideal way to start of your lessons without worrying!
